Internet History Sourcebooks Project (Fordham)
  "A collection of public domain and copy-permitted historical texts presented cleanly (without advertising or excessive layout) for educational use." The collections are grouped into three main sourcebooks - ancient, medieval and modern - that cover a broad range of textual materials, including legal, religious, literary, economic, and scientific works. Ancient History Sourcebook includes works of Greek and Roman historians, poets, philosophers, dramatists and orators. The Medieval Sourcebook includes saints' lives. Paul Halsall is the site's author and maintainer; web space and server support are provided by Fordham University's History Department and its Center for Medieval Studies.
 
Christian Classics Ethereal Library
  "The Christian Classics Ethereal Library is a digital library of hundreds of classic Christian books selected for edification and education." The collection provides an eclectic and ecumenical mix of Reformation, Catholic and literary sources from Dante, Augustine and St. Anselm to Chesterton, Calvin and Jonathan Edwards. The Library was formerly located at Wheaton College, and is currently edited and maintained by an advisory board at Calvin College.

  Excellent collection of Catholic Christian resources, including: St. Thomas Aquinas' Summa Theologica, the Douay-Rheims version of the Holy Bible, extensive writings of the Church Fathers (e.g., Ambrose, Athanasius, Augustine, Jerome, Origen) and a library of Church documents.
 
Liberty Library of Constitutional Classics
  Links to "classic books and other works on constitutional government" that shaped the Anglo-American understanding of republican government, law and jurisprudence. The Library is maintained by the Constitution Society.

A digitization project of Northern Illinois University Libraries and Alan Kulikoff of the University of Georgia.
